GLOBAL PREHOSPITAL CONSORTIUM

The Global Prehospital Consortium (GPC) is an international consortium of community-based Tier-1 emergency medical services (EMS) organizations aiming to build out-of-hospital emergency care (OHEC) capacity in resource-limited prehospital settings through advocacy, implementation, and research.

The GPC is the largest collaboration between organizations directing Tier-1 EMS programs globally with operations in 12 countries on 3 continents and 22,000 first responders.

The GPC has potential to co-educate, compile data, and conduct rigorous international research.

Increasing participation by additional organizations further expands patient sample sizes, study setting diversity, and comparative evaluation potential for quality improvement and best practices delineation.
